Gamavit is a complex preparation, the main active ingredients of which are denatured emulsified placenta (PDE) and sodium nucleinate in a physiologically balanced water-salt solution containing also amino acids and vitamins. Biogenic stimulant, adaptogen, immunomodulator, biotonic agent.

Gamavit is used for infectious diseases as part of complex therapy, for any intoxications (poisoning with synthetic and food poisons, anthelmintics and other antiparasitic drugs, helminth decay products), for anemia, hypovitaminosis, for rehabilitation after antibiotic therapy, trauma and surgery. As a supportive agent, the drug is very effective in the treatment of bacterial, viral, chlamydial and parasitic diseases (including babesiosis).

Gamavit increases the performance of skeletal muscles and the resistance of animals to physical stress – it is used in training, preparation for various kinds of competitions, exhibitions, long trips, and in other stressful conditions. The drug is especially indicated for weakened animals.

Gamavit is used to normalize labor in complicated cases. The drug stimulates the smooth muscles of the uterus, accelerating and facilitating the labor process, promotes the rapid cleansing of the uterine horns from dead fetuses.

The drug normalizes metabolic processes, has a detoxification and immunomodulatory effect. Its use increases the effectiveness of treatment, allows to stabilize and improve the condition of critically ill animals, accelerates the process of recovery of the affected organs and systems, thereby contributing to the recovery of animals.

Thanks to the detoxifying properties of Gamavit, which are due to its unique balanced composition, neutralization and removal of harmful, toxic and other decay products is achieved, and the subsequent normalization of the functions impaired as a result of their influence. The amino acids included in Gamavit (L-glutamic acid, lysine, glycine, arginine and others) in combination with sodium nucleinate are capable of neutralizing toxic nitrogenous slags; binding endogenous ammonia, which accumulates in excess concentrations in violation of the detoxification function of the liver, these amino acids prevent ammonia intoxication of the brain, and also have a therapeutic effect on the liver in case of violations of its functions, activate reparative processes in liver cells, which leads to the elimination of cytolytic syndrome, a decrease in the level bilirubin,

An important rationale for the use of Gamavit is its antioxidant activity, which helps to neutralize the harmful effects of free radicals, prevent oxidative stress and, at the same time, protect the body from damage by toxic substances of endogenous and exogenous origin.

It is highly advisable to use Gamavit for poisoning of various etiologies. The drug in such cases was used in shock doses against the background of intensive therapy. The introduction of Gamavit helped relieve intoxication on the 2-3rd day.

The use of Gamavit significantly shortened the rehabilitation period for postoperative conditions, and the appointment of Gamavit for various injuries not only helped relieve shock, but also significantly accelerated wound healing. Thus, aseptic surgical wounds healed 2-3 days earlier, with practically no complications.

The use of Gamavit is especially effective for the prevention of psychoemotional stress and its negative consequences a few hours before the expected stressful situation (transportation, exhibitions, changing housing, visiting a veterinarian, holiday fireworks, agility competitions, etc.). At the same time, animals do not observe any depression of the state or other side effects characteristic of antipsychotics and tranquilizers. The best anti-stress effect is achieved when Gamavit is used together with Fosprenil, which significantly speeds up the rehabilitation processes and increases the body’s resistance.

Mode of application:

The drug is administered subcutaneously, intramuscularly, intravenously, possibly by drinking.

For the purpose of prophylaxis, 0.1 ml / kg of body weight of the animal:

• with anemia, hypovitaminosis, weakened, old animals – in / m 1-3 times a week. The duration of the course is 2-4 weeks or more;
• at increased loads, to enhance the resistance of animals to technological stress – once or in a course 8, 6, 4 days before and immediately before exposure to stress factors.

For therapeutic purposes, 0.3-0.5 ml / kg of body weight of the animal is administered:

• in the treatment of infectious and invasive diseases (including piroplasmosis) – 2-3 times a day, 3-5 days
• in case of poisoning – s / c, i / v (jet or drip in a 3-5-fold therapeutic dose (as part of a complex of standard therapy)
• for deworming – intramuscularly on the day of deworming and again every other day.
• in the treatment of obstetric and gynecological diseases intramuscularly 1 time per day for 5-7 days

Composition of the preparation Gamavit

Gamavit combines well with other pharmacological agents. The combination with Fosprenil enhances the effect of the drug. Side effects and complications after the use of Gamavit have not been established.
